MIKE MCGRAW
MIKE MCGRAWSTUDIO HEAD
The Ancient. Sometimes referred to as the Boss; sometimes as Dad. Mike is a creative studio veteran with 30+ years of experience, as evidenced by his considerable greying. He oversees all studio business and drives growth.

In addition, he’s probably as close as you can get to being a lawyer without actually being one. I mean, who really wants to be a lawyer when you can inspire a talented team with making great games instead?

Most importantly, he is our Chief Culture Officer – inspiring greatness, creating fun, and providing the coffee!

MIKE LOWRY
MIKE LOWRYTECHNICAL DESIGNER & DEVELOPER
The Unicorn. Mike “Loowwwrry” might be his Hollywood name, but he’s known as “Hoot” on this team. Hoot brings 20+ years of experience in game development, with much of that in social and real-money casinos – even Disney at some point.

Mike has filled many roles: he’s been a Producer, Product Owner, Senior Developer, Game Designer, and Project Manager – and he even has a certificate or two in Classical Animation.

When he’s not trouncing everyone in our movie poster challenges, he keeps our game projects moving forward. His persistently positive outlook, patience, and sense of humour make us laugh when we feel like crying.

JASON MARCEAU
JASON MARCEAUQA MANAGER
The All-Canadian. Jason embodies the Canadian spirit – and has probably lived in more provinces than anyone else on the team!

Jason’s trademark is the ability to problem solve and fix anything. He brings us tremendous experience in Development Operations, and documentation is definitely one of his strengths. He also makes everything sound smarter with his impressive French accent.

Known for his stories of unfortunate sledding adventures and maple syrup in the snow, the team always looks forward to Jason’s adventurous tales.

BRETT LACEY
BRETT LACEYOPERATIONS MANAGER
The Air Traffic Controller. Brett keeps the different parts of the studio moving. Despite being a tech newbie, he manages game production and delivery like a pro!

With his sunny disposition and can-do attitude, there is nothing out of his reach.

Brett comes from a traditional manufacturing management background – he still thinks factories are pretty cool places, but not nearly as cool as a game studio!

JUAN MATARRANZ ALADRÉN

The Maestro. Juan hails all the way from Spain, and this European Master is worth his weight in Spanish Gold! With over 10 years in iGaming and a background in art, design and user experience he brings creative mastery to our team.

Juan is great at generating ideas, dreaming big and implementing creative solutions.

Easily identified by the pencils and sketchpad he keeps on-hand for when creativity strikes!

RAMKUMAR NADARAJAN
RAMKUMAR NADARAJANQA LEAD & SCRUM MASTER
The Orca. Ramkumar has over 5 years of experience as a Software Test Engineer and in Quality Assurance. In addition to testing our games, he is our Certified Scrum Master and Test Automation Inquisitor.

Ramkumar was once a competitive swimmer – this training and perseverance prepared him well for identifying defects and managing excited scrums. He “just keeps swimming” and always achieves his goals!

SMITA KANWADE
SMITA KANWADEQA ENGINEER
The Serene. In the excitable studio environment, Smita is calm, collected and totally focused on the work at hand. With over 6 years of experience in IT and Quality Assurance, and as a Mom to 2 boys, she can tackle anything that comes her way!

A background in Software Development, and a passion for Testing makes Smita a valuable member of our team.

Her cool head and tactical approach to work petrifies even the nastiest of bugs!

COURTNEY MCGRAW

The Visionary. Courtney is creative to the core! She has unlimited creative potential when it comes to sketching, painting, storyboarding, and building mood boards. Her artistic vision extends far beyond just visuals – she’s got a knack for marrying theme concepts with a story.

If you’re around the studio and looking to bounce new ideas, Courtney is the one you need to see! Blue sky, concepting, and hot beverages are Courtney’s studio domain.

BRAD MELCHIN
BRAD MELCHINLEAD DEVELOPER
The Other Gamer. Also known as the “Tall One”. Brad leads our development team by example, with poise and a sharp wit.

Brad is a highly talented developer, and claims to be better in nearly every way than Hoot (who generally disagrees with that sentiment).

We once thought Brad unplugged his rented eBike controller during a vigorous team building event to burn some extra calories. Turns out it was just a loose cable ….

OWEN BEERS
OWEN BEERSGAME DEVELOPER
The Builder. Owen is an experienced software engineer who can build basically anything!

His background in User Experience and foundation in Computer Science and Mathematics has given him a knack for picking up Programming Languages, and the ability to develop products for people.

Owen is a big fan of ugly Christmas sweaters, a proud dog Dad, and has the best surname on the team.

EVAN NORTON
EVAN NORTONSENIOR GAME DEVELOPER
The Wunderkind. Evan started working in Software Development at the early age of 19! Our passionate protégé loves making games, and spends most of his spare time livestreaming himself building an MMO game.

When Evan is not building worlds, he he embraces real life – travelling to concerts around the country, and going on adventures with his family.

The Gamer. Having been with the studio since 2018, Braden draws on success in hospitality. He’s a dedicated player, and he understands what makes an exceptional gaming experience. He’s probably travelled to more countries than anyone else on our team, and he’s got the souvenirs to show for it.

Braden is a genuine team leader – bringing humour, enthusiasm, dedication, and very creative ideas. Our Game Designer is known for his intelligence, high energy and outgoing character.

The Animator. Kate has been bringing our art to life since 2019! With experience as an Art Director, Game Artist and Animator, she brings magic to our games. As the owner of our art pipeline, her creative and technical skill set across the development process make her a key member of our team.

Kate’s magic is backed by Science – she holds an incredible Master of Science in Architectural Engineering!

Kate accepts challenges head-on and still keeps things cool with her fabulous sense of humour. Ask her about baby Yoda!

CATHERINE BILRO
CATHERINE BILROASSOCIATE PRODUCER
The Communicator. Catherine has a background in Technical Writing, Game Functionality and Player Experience.

She combines her 5+ years of experience in IT and Operations with her passion for knowledge-sharing to passionately translate technical hieroglyphics into human speak.

With a Masters Degree in Classics and experience as an archaeologist, Catherine loves to dig out the details, understand the problem and solve the mystery of any problem or project!
